Six long and weirdly complex months have passed since the almighty Emily Richmond collaborated on our initial round of wee wacky vids (all of which can be accessed at mogulus.com/nogoodforme). I remember those days as if they were yesterday. I was depressed as shit and living in the world’s shittiest city; I was nervous to be on camera and doubted that I’d even be able to pull off videography at all.
Six long and weirdly complex months later, I basically consider myself the next Mo Rocca/Kurt Loder/Anderson Cooper/Tuckkker Carlson/etc/I want my own TV show. This past September, Emily and I re-collabo-ed for our Conversations in Brooklyn series, but soon realized: asking strangers who their favorite Beatles are is simply NOT ENOUGH for this dynamic duo. Autumn 08 LJ is redonkulously confident on cam; Emily’s a genius; WE CAN DO BETTER, we thought (both collectively and respectively).
And so was born/brainacked-up the inviolable and prodigious magick that is DO YOU SUCK LESS THAN LAURA JANE?. Four installments of DYSLTLJ? are presently in existence; hence the christening of this Tuesday-and-beyond business week as LAURA JANE SUCKS WEEK.

Tuesday, 11/18 (AKA today): Baseball vs. a 7-yr-old
Wednesday, 11/19: Crosswording vs. a hipster dude
Thursday, 11/20: Drawing vs. another hipster dude
Friday, 11/21: Running vs. a truck driver
